Antti Saari is professor of education in the Faculty of Education and Culture at Tampere University, Finland. His research in CROSS focuses on the policies and pedagogical expertise involved in classroom design. His current work analyzes political fantasies and emotions related to envisioning classrooms of the future in Finland. Together with Mathias Decuypere, he is also studying the different forms of policy mobility within European Schoolnet’s Future Classroom Lab concept across various sites in Europe. His other research interests include the philosophy and history of education, as well as the power-knowledges of education. Antti leads the research group POISED – Political Philosophies and Sociologies of Education.
