Heidun Oldervik

Heidun Oldervik is an associate professor in pedagogy at Department of Education and Lifelong Learning, NTNU, Norway, where she leads an education program in pedagogy and teaches courses on governance, leadership and education in the welfare state. Previously, she worked as a teacher and principal. Her research focuses on using critical perspectives to examine school governance historically, through reforms, and in practices such as leadership and teaching. She is currently working on a project with teachers’ life histories, including teachers’ narratives about school spaces and schools’ local environment. Research interests also include Sami perspectives in the history of education.
